Myanmar, Petrolimex’s HTOO sign cooperation deal

VGP – Myanmar’s HTOO Group of Companies and the Viet Nam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) have recently signed a deal in Ha Noi.

Petrolimex Chairman Bui Ngoc Bao hailed Myanmar as a promising oil and gas market and a golden land for investors in the region.

Mr. Bao expressed his belief that the bilateral cooperation will thrive, especially in fields of Petrolimex’s strength such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, refinery, construction, and supply of oil and gas facilities.

Petrolimex and its member companies will send teams to Myanmar to study the market and local laws to outline specific business plans in the coming time.

HTOO General Director Pye Phyo Tay Za wished that the deal would open up a new period for bilateral ties.

Under the program, they will explore the possibility of jointly doing business in Myanmar.
