In APCERT, Vietnam has a powerful contingent of leading experts

The foundation of APCERT was suggested at the APEC Telecommunication Ministerial Conference in May 2002. In August 2002, a working team was founded and in February 2003, the first meeting was convened in Taiwan to establish APCERT. APCERT has its own Permanent Council and some working teams to research and standardize the organization's performance. APCERT now has 15 full members and some other members from 12 APEC economies.
