More donors for ASEAN year named

VGP – Three enterprises were just recognized as the donors for activities to be organized during Việt Nam’s ASEAN Presidency Year.

The three newly-recognized donors are the Việt Nam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex), Thái Bình Shoes Production and Investment Joint-stock Company, and Vital Joint-stock Company.

Earlier, four major sponsors for the ASEAN Year were named on March 12, namely PetroVietnam, BIDV, Viettel and Petrolimex.

The sponsors are allowed to use the logo of ASEAN 2010 for business purposes; appear on the official ASEAN website; and participate in official activities during the ASEAN year themed “Towards ASEAN Community: From Vision to Action.”

As the chair of ASEAN, Việt Nam will focus on strengthening solidarity and connectivity among ASEAN members, implementing the ASEAN Charter and roadmaps to the ASEAN Community and maintaining the bloc’s role and position in the region as well as in the world.
