Mobilizing all resources to combat dengue fever

Since the beginning of 2010, dengue fever outbreaks have infected 55,430 people nationwide, especially in the Central region, the Central Highlands and Mekong Delta.

In the Notice released on September 18, PM Dũng requested Chairmen of the People’s Committees of provinces and cities to call upon citizens to seriously conduct preventive measures such as environment sanitation and mosquito extermination in conformity with instructions of the Ministry of Health (MoH). 

The MoH will in be in charge of sending task forces to help local authorities in preventing and combating the disease. 

Hospitals were assigned to prepare adequate medicines and sickbeds for patients./.
