Malaysian group to invest in Quảng Trị

VGP - Malaysia’s Giant Group Ltd (GGL) has been licensed to survey, design and construct three multi-billion dollar projects in the central province of Quảng Trị.

A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Quảng Trị People’s Committee and GGL last week.

The projects are the Quảng Trị Airport, the Lao Bảo-Đông Hà Railway, and the US $1.8-billion Mỹ Thủy deep-water seaport.

At the signing ceremony, GGL President Mohammad Fadzwi Bin Hamidun thanked Quảng Trị Province for support to his group.

Chairman of Quảng Trị Provincial People’s Committee Lê Hữu Phúc pledged to do more to help the group implement the projects as soon as possible.
