Legislature approves appointment of DPMs, Cabinet members

The legislators also voted to approve the Government chief’s appointment of Ministers and other Cabinet member.

The following is the election results:

1. 469/487 deputies (94.94% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Truong Hoa Binh as Deputy Prime Minister.

2. 483/488 deputies (97.77% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Politburo member Pham Binh Minh as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

3. 476/488 deputies (96.36% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of Poliburo member Vuong Dinh Hue as Deputy Prime Minister.

4. 473/488 deputies (95.75% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Vu Duc Dam as Deputy Prime Minister.

5. 445/488 deputies (90.08% of the total deputies) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Trinh Dinh Dung as Deputy Prime Minister.

1. 477/487 deputies (96.56%) approved the appointment of Politburo member Ngo Xuan Lich as Minister of National Defense.

2. 473/486 deputies (95.75%) approveed the appointment of Politburo member To Lam as Minister of Public Security.

3. 449/487 deputies (90.89%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Le Vinh Tan as Minister of Home Affairs.

4. 448/487 deputies (90.69%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Le Thanh Long as Mininister of Justice.

5. 452/485 deputies (91.50%) approved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Chi Dung as Minister of Planning and Investment.

6. 468/487 deptuties (94.74%) appproved the appointment of member of the Party Central Committee Dinh Tien Dung as Minister of Finance.
