Leaders welcome 45th anniversary of diplomatic tie establishment with Laos

VNGOP – On the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic tie establishment between Việt Nam and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (September 5, 1962-September 5, 2007), Party General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, and National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng on September 4 separately sent their messages of greetings to their Lao counterparts, General Secretary-President Choummaly Sayasone, PM Bouasone Bouphavanh, and NA Chairman Thoongsing Thammavong respectively.
