Leaders send greetings on 45th anniversary of VN-Canada diplomatic ties

VGP – State President Tran Dai Quang on August 20 extended his congratulatory message to Canadian Governor General Julie Payette on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Viet Nam and Canada (August 21, 1973).

The same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent his greetings to his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau.

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan cabled her messages of congratulations to Canadian Speaker of the Senate George Furey and Speaker of the House of Commons Geoff Regan.

The same occasion, Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh telegraphed his greetings to Canadian FM Alexandra Chrystia Freeland.
