Leaders congratulate Russia and the Philippines on National Day

VNGOP – On the Day of the Adoption of the Declaration of Sovereignty (June 12, 1990) of the Russian Federation and the National Day of the Philippines (June 12, 1898), State President Nguyễn Minh Triết cabled congratulatory messages on June 11 to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Filipino President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng also sent greetings to Filipino President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Russia’s PM Vladimir Putin.

On the occasion, Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm telegraphed messages of greetings to Russian FM Sergey Lavrov and Filipino FM Alberto Romulo.
