Le Quoc Phong re-elected First Secretary of HCM Communist Youth Union

VGP – Mr. Le Quoc Phong was re-elected as First Secretary of the 11th Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) for the 2017-2022 period on December 12.

He was First Secretary of the 10th Central Committee of the HCYU for the 2012-2017 period.

Nguyen Anh Tuan, Nguyen Ngoc Luong and Bui Quang Huy were also re-elected as Secretaries of the 11th HCYU Central Committee.

The 11th HCYU Central Committee comprised of 151 members as announced at the ongoing 11th National Congress of the HCYU in Ha Noi on December 12.

The 11th National Congress of the HCYU in Ha Noi from December 10-13 attracted the participation of nearly 1,000 delegates representing millions of the union’s members nationwide.
