Lào Cai financed to improve ethnic minorities’ nutritional self-reliance and health care

VNGOP – The PM agreed that the People’s Committee of the northern province of Lào Cai will take over the €1.3 billion Project "Improving nutritional self-reliance and health care for ethnic minority groups in Lào Cai".

It is reported that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Unity and Cooperation for the Development of People (UCODEP, Italy) grant €752,406.67 in cash; UCODEP also provides €143,520 in kind. Lào Cai will allocate a corresponding capital of €473,564.28 in kind.

The PM entrusted the Lào Cai People’s Committee to sign the documents with UCODEP and direct the implementation of the project under current regulations on managing and using foreign non-governmental aid.
