The Management Board of Rural Development Projects revealed that the sum mainly comes from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the French Development Agency (AFD).

The local government contributed a corresponding capital equivalent to 15% of the total fund.

The overall project on rural development in Kon Tum consists of six sub-projects, five for rural roads and one for irrigation.

The five transport projects will help build 41 km of asphalted macadam roads in Tu Mơ Rông, Kon Ploong and Ngọc Hồi Districts.

Meanwhile, the irrigation work will be built to water 30 ha of cultivation land in Ngọc Yêu Commune of Tu Mơ Rông District.

All these projects were scheduled to be kick-started in the 4th quarter.
