The factory is scheduled to come into operation in October 2009.

Kobuta targets to increase the consumption of its agriculture machines in Việt Nam to around 15,000-25,000 pieces per year in 2013.

The construction of the factory in Việt Nam is aimed at expanding the Corporation’s business in Asia and tripling the consumption of agriculture devices in this continent to 150,000 in 2013.

Kobuta also established an agent in Hồ Chí Minh City, providing second-hand agriculture machines.

Earlier, the Corporation set up a US $11.3-million factory manufacturing harvesters and tractors in the southern province of Bình Dương in August 2008.

Kubota plans to introduce its modern machines to Việt Nam in the near future Because the country is assessed as a promising market with the sales of US $11 million by 2011.
