Japanese bank ranks VN as third investment
VGP - Việt Nam continues to be praised as a promising investment destination and ranks the third in attracting Japanese investors, reported a survey recently conducted by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) on Japanese companies’ performance overseas.

Thirty two percent of companies surveyed in 2008 rated Việt Nam as a promising destination, 3% lower than 2007 figure.
However, Việt Nam is still one of top locations for Japanese investors thanks to its cheap workforce.
The survey also points out potential industries in Việt Nam, such as electrical and electronic equipment, automobile, machinery, chemicals, metal products, garment and textile, precise engineering, food, petroleum and rubber.
