Italy decides to donate more than 800,000 vaccine doses to Viet Nam

The vaccines are expected to arrive in Viet Nam in early September.

Italy is the EU’s second main donor to COVAX as the country pledged to give 15 million doses to the mechanism without geographical preference.

As a development partner of ASEAN, Italy committed to contributing additional US$2 million to ASEAN’s fund to prepare and respond to COVID-19 pandemic./.
