Information about Vietnamese casualties in Nepal clarified
VGP – The Vietnamese Embassies in India and Bangladesh have revealed that they have not been updated with any information about any Vietnamese casualties in the earthquakes in Nepal.
FM spokesperson Le Hai Binh made it clear when answering a question about Vietnamese’s situations in Nepal after the earthquakes on April 25 and citizen protection work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Vietnamese representative agencies in India and Bangladesh are closely cooperating with local functional agencies to seek related information about Vietnamese citizens in Nepal.

The devastating 7.8 magnitude quake hit Nepal on April 25, killing at least 1,800 people. It is said the worst disaster in the quake-prone Himalayan nation in more than 80 years.
