Industry and Trade Minister appointed VN’s TIFA Chairperson

VNGOP – The PM on January 17 appointed Minister of Industry and Trade Vũ Huy Hoàng to be the Vietnamese Chairperson of the Việt Nam-US Intergovernmental Cooperation Council under the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA).

The PM also asked the TIFA Secretariat to continue its operation in line with his directions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was assigned to inform the US the PM’s decision.
