Indian Cultural Center makes debut

VGP – The Indian Embassy on April 20 opened the Indian Cultural Center in Ha Noi, marking the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam-India diplomatic ties (January 7, 1972) and 10th years of the two nations’ Strategic Partnership.

Participation in the events included India’s Minister of State of External Affairs Vijay Kumar Singh, Indian Ambassador to Viet Nam Harish Parvathaneni and his spouse and Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) Le Khanh Hai.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vijay Kumar Singh expressed his thanks to the Vietnamese Government and the MCST for facilitating the Indian Embassy to establish the center.

The establishment of the center manifests the fruitful relationship between the two nations, which helps preserve and uphold the two sides’ cultural heritages.

The center also shows the effective cooperation between the two sides, said Deputy Minister Le Khanh Hai, expecting that it will contribute to strengthening Viet Nam-India Strategic Partnership.
