Hòn La Seaport officially debuts
VGP - The Ministry of Transport announced to open the Hòn La Seaport in the central province of Quảng Bình to receive Vietnamese and international vessels.

The seaport is located in Quảng Đông Commune, Quảng Trạch District and invested by the Quảng Bình Department of Transport.
Its Quay 1 can receive 10,000 DWT vessels.
According to the economic development plan for Quảng Bình and nearby provinces, the port can receive 1.8 million tons of cargo, and 1.4 million tons of goods from China by the year 2010. It also functions as an entrepot for 1.4 million tons of cement and minerals from Laos.
