In the mural section, Việt Nam boasts for such images as the big yellow-carapace turtle embodying the Sword Lake legend, One-Pillar Pagoda, and the Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature.

Meanwhile, an Italian green turtle stretches itself over the Colosseum, bearing on its shell images of Leonardo Da Vinci and his La Joconde (Mona Lisa).

A Western green dragon and an Asian red one form a big all-through eye in the center of the mural section which ends with a swan carrying legendary buildings.

Local and foreign artists have so far completed nearly 5,500m2 of the mosaic mural running along the Red River bank in Hà Nội the work to commemorate the 1000th founding anniversary of Thăng Long-Hà Nội.
