HN: July CPI up 0.18%

VGP – Ha Noi’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) in July increased 0.18% against the previous month and up 6.39% compared to the same period last year, according to the city’s General Statistics Office.

Ten out of the 11 commodities saw increased prices. Meanwhile, the price of postal services and telecommunications remained unchanged.

The prices of food and foodstuff only rose 0.01%. The prices of housing and construction materials, electricity, water and fuel saw an increase of 0.53% this month.

Due to the hike in oil and gas prices, the price of traffic services inched up by 0.51%.
