HN: 14,460 businesses set up in 10 months

VGP – As many as 14,460 businesses were established in Ha Noi over the past 10 months of 2014, up 1.47% in comparison with the same period in 2013.

The information was released at a meeting to review the city’s socio-economic performances in 2014 and tasks for 2015.

The capital city’s Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee Vu Hong Khanh said during the time the city still maintained a reasonable economic growth rate, which is higher than the same period of the previous years.

The city’s Gross Domestic Product is estimated to increase 8.8% for the full year. Remarkable increases were seen in the industry-construction, up 8.4%, service, up 9.6% and agriculture, up 2%.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is forecasted to rise 5.34% compared to the same period last year.
