Higher fines on anti-wastefulness infringements

VGP – The Government issued Decree 63/2019/ND-CP (Decree 63) on punishment of administrative violations on public asset management and usage, thrift practice, anti-wastefulness, national reserve, and state treasury.

Decree 63 stipulated that maximum fine levels of VND 50 million and VND 100 million will be applied on individuals and organizations on management and spending of public assets and state treasury, respectively.

Infringements in the area of thrift practice and anti-wastefulness will be fined VND 100 million for individuals and VND 200 million for organizations.

Decree 63 regulates that organizations and individuals are not allowed to use State budget to pay for their infringements./.
