The EuroCham will uphold its bridging role to connect European firms to join development programs in Ho Chi Minh City such as smart city and transport projects in forms of investment, business and trading, thus helping the city to take its full advantages to become an attractive destination not only for the European enterprises but also other nations.
Ho Chi Minh City hopes to receive positive contributions of foreign businesses to its development process, said Vice Chairman of the city’s People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem.
The city’s customs commits that the time for customs clearance will be reduced by 50-70%, asserted head of the city’s customs department Dinh Ngoc Thang.
Director for the International Project Director at EU-Viet Nam Business Network (EVBN) Mayte Pernas highlighted the importance of creating more opportunities for the two sides’ business communities to meet and exchange in the context that the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) will come into effect in the upcoming time.
