Haikou-Hà Nội air route to be launched late this month
VGP - China’s Hainan Airlines plans to open the direct air route between Haikou City in the island province of Hainan and Hà Nội with two flights a week.

The flights, on Thursday and Sunday, will cover the route in about 70 minutes, according to Mr. Bùi Minh Đăng, vice director of the Air Transport Department under the Civil Aviation Administration of Việt Nam.
The route is launched as initiated by PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng during his visit to Hainan in October 2008.
The Chinese authorities allowed Hainam Airlines to conduct regular flights between the two cities.
Hainan Airlines, China’s 4th biggest carrier, currently has over 200 aircraft of different kinds.
