Hải Phòng to pilot tax payment via bank

VGP – The northern city of Hải Phòng will be the first locality in Việt Nam to pilot the program on import and export tax payment via Vietinbank since the beginning of October.

Everything is ready for the collection of import and export tax via Vietinbank, confirmed leaders of the bank, General Department of Việt Nam Customs, and the State Treasury in a conference yesterday.

The pilot program will be firstly conducted in three districts of the city, then popularized in other provinces like Quảng Ninh, Vĩnh Phúc, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu, and Hồ Chí Minh City before coming into official nationwide deployment next year.

This way of import-export tax collection would help to save enterprises’ time for tax payment.
