Hải Phòng to host 8th Việt Nam-France Decentralization Conference

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng instructed the People’s Committee of Hải Phòng, in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to invite relevant agencies and localities who have cooperative ties with France to join the event. 

According to the latest information of Hải Phòng City, under the theme “Việt Nam-France decentralization cooperation: Strengthening integration for sustainable development,” the event will focus on further cooperation in sustainable development (environment, urban planning, urban and rural transport infrastructure), training of human resources, improvement of public services, economic ties, and cultural linkages. 

The conference is held every two years in Việt Nam and France on rotating basis.
