Ha Noi to test 13 groups of high-risk residents

VGP – The Ha Noi Department of Health is now conducting the second phase of COVID-19 RT-PCR testing in high-risk areas and for 13 groups of people from August 18-20.

These residents are: shippers, sellers at wet markets, salesperson at supermarkets and commercial markets, home grocers, petrol pump workers, drivers of industrial parks, drivers, security guards of apartments, industrial parks, factories, and public offices, construction workers stranded in Ha Noi, pharmacists at drugstores, frontline workers at quarantine sites, sanitation workers.

Earlier, the first phase of large-scale testing was implemented from August 10-15 in which 313,000 swabs were collected at 30 districts. Authorities detected 29 positive cases in five districts, namely Dong Da (23 cases), Thanh Tri (three cases), Hoang Mai (one case), Ha Dong (one case), Thanh Oai (one case).
