Gov’t to tighten price control

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on Saturday ordered relevant forces to expand supervision of commodity prices.

November 07, 2010 1:20 PM GMT+7

The order is part of the Government’s effort to rein in inflation.

In October, consumer price index (CPI) rose by 1.05% and 9.66% against September and last October.

The Government chief on the same day issued a document asking localities throughout the country to set up task forces to inspect the observation of price regulations and report to him prior to November 15.

The task forces will focus on inspecting price boards.
