Gov’t to submit six bills to NA

VGP – In preparation for the 29th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee which is slated for March 15-21, in Hà Nội, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has recently assigned competent ministers to draft six bills, two statements and the Government’s resolution.

The Minister of Planning and Investment is in charge of composing a Government statement and a resolution to amend Resolution 66/2006/QH11, dated on June 29, 2006, on national projects and works to be submitted to the NA for decision.

The Minister of Finance is responsible for drafting a bill on environmental protection and a NA resolution on agricultural land taxation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Information and Communications, and the General Inspectorate are assigned to prepare for the Bill on Territorial Waters, the Bill on Minerals (amended), the Bill on Child Adoption, the Bill on Posts, and the Bill on Inspection, respectively.

As planned, these drafts will be submitted to the NA in early March after being approved by the PM.
