Gov’t supports VN-Mexico legislative ties

Deputy PM, FM Minh suggested Mexico continue close cooperation with Viet Nam to contribute to the success of the 2017 APEC Year’s events, including the APEC economic leaders’ week slated for November in Da Nang City.

The bilateral ties have advanced well in various areas, especially in politics, economy, trade and coordination at international organizations and forums, Deputy PM, FM Minh said.

Ms. Gabriela Cuevas Barrón expressed her admiration for Viet Nam’s glorious history as well as the great reform achievements over the past three decades, affirming that Mexico expects to further enhance cooperation with Viet Nam.

At the meeting, the two sides also discuss cooperation at international organizations and multilateral forums in the time to come in order to make practical contribution to peace, stability, cooperation and development across the world and to heighten their international positions./.
