Gov’t leaders’ opinions on VN’s involvement in financial activities

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng recently agreed to send State Bank of Việt Nam (SBV) Governor Nguyễn Văn Giàu to the 17^th Annual Meeting of the Central Bank Governors of La Francophonie, slated for May 12-15 in Canada.

Permanent Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng gave nod to the plan under which Việt Nam will host the 44^th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Hà Nội in 2011.

The SBV, in collaboration with relevant agencies, was assigned to select venues and conduct preparatory work for the meeting.       

Deputy PM Hùng also appointed Finance Minister Vũ Văn Ninh to attend the 13^th ASEAN 3 Finance Ministers’ Meeting (AFMM 3) and the East Asian Summit (EAS) Finance Ministers’ Informal Meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on May 1-2.
