Gov’t issues regulations for capturing seagoing vessels
VGP – The Government chief on May 25 announced Decree 57/2010/NĐ-CP stipulating and instructing the implementation of the Ordinance on Procedures for Capturing Seagoing Vessels

The Decree is applied to both Vietnamese and foreign organizations or individuals whose vessels severely violate Việt Nam’s laws on territorial waters.
The Decree also clearly stipulates competence, process, and procedures of capturing and releasing seagoing vessels.
The document will take effect sine July 9, 2010./.
