Gov’t chief extends sympathies to Europe over COVID-19 pandemic

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has conveyed letters of sympathies to European leaders over the COVID-19 pandemic which is developing complicatedly in the continent.

His letters addressed to President of the European Council Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and European Parliament President David Sassoli.

The PM also expressed his sympathies to his UK, German, French, Italian and Spanish counterparts.

Statistics showed that as of 2:00 PM, April 1, the outbreak claimed over 30,000 lives in Europe of which over three quarters were Italian and Spanish people.
