The plan sets the goal to both expand network of air routes and increase number of flights on the existing routes between Viet Nam and its key tourism markets such as U.S., France, United Kingdom, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, Australia and India.

The plan also lists specific targets for each of the above source markets from now to 2025.

In addition, domestic air routes to Viet Nam’s key tourist destinations will also be increased in a bid to make tourism a spearhead economic sector.
