Fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence hits 42 localities

VGP - Lao Cai and An Giang have reported the first community infection cases of COVID-19, raising the total number of cities and provinces hit by the current fourth COVID-19 wave to 42.

So far, 20 provinces and cities have gone 14 days wiouth any new local infections including Yen Bai, Quang Ngai, Quang Ninh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Tay Ninh, Gia Lai, Bac Lieu, Dien Bien, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, Thai Binh and Vinh Phuc.
