Four localities among Top 25 Asia Destinations

This award is based on the criteria including reputation, tourist attraction and high recognition of such places. Among Top 25 Asia Destinations this year, Ha Noi ranks 14, Ho Chi Minh City, 15, Hoi An, 17 and Ha Long, 25.

TripAdvisor writes on its website: “The charming Vietnamese capital has aged well, preserving the Old Quarter, monuments and colonial architecture, while making room for modern developments alongside. Lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagodas add to the appeal of this city”.

Ho Chi Minh city is the biggest city in Viet Nam, showing the cultural and economic development of the country, Hoi An is a typical example of remaining the most important commercial port in the South East of Asia from 15th century to 19th century, and Ha Long is the place for tourists to visit with surprisingly beautiful limestone islets and caves.

The ceremony of Asia Destination Awards 2013 will be held on June 18 in Singapore.
