Foreign experts permitted to engage in urban railway project

VGP – The PM agreed in principle that Vietnamese contractors can hire foreign experts to assess technical designs and estimates for the Project on urban rail route in Hà Nội, section from Cát Linh to Hà Đông.

According to the Ministry of Transport, the railway route Cát Linh-Hà Đông is a 13.05-km elevated system with 12 stations for public passenger transport.

The route is planned to come into operation by 2014.
