Flight fees over VN’s airspace

VGP – The Ministry of Finance has issued Circular No. 146/2016/TT-BTC on providing for fees collection, transfer and management for flights over Viet Nam's airspace.

Accordingly, the fees will be applied for usual flights, unusual flights and special flights combined with commercial purposes.

Fee-exemption will be imposed on special flights (excluding special flights combined with commercial ones), flights on duty and flights serving for search and rescue, and delivery of humanitarian aid, and natural calamity and flood aid relief.

The Circular stipulates fees for usual flights over Viet Nam’s airspace as follows;

For unusual flights, the fees will account for 120% of the fees mentioned above.

The Circular will take effect since January 1, 2017 and be applied since the financial year 2017.
