Five commercial banks to pilot e-tax payment

A representative from the Export-Import Duty Department reported that from November, 2017, the General Department will launch a new channel on e-tax payment with a view to minimizing shortcomings on money transfer procedures.

The new e-tax payment is expected to support the commercial banks to improve services; attract potential customers; and minimize information errors.

Tax offices will forward online tax declarations that they receive to banks, which will transfer money from taxpayers' accounts to the State budget./.
