First private airlines licensed

With a legal capital of VND 600 billion, Vietjet registers to operate two Airbus 320 aircraft in exploiting domestic air routes Hồ Chí Minh City-Hà Nội-Đà Nẵng and to some tourist sites and international routes from Hà Nội and Hồ Chí Minh City to Singapore and Thailand.

The company schedules to come into operation in November next year. It also plans to purchase three aircraft more in the first five years.
