The Ministry of Information and Communications is drafting the PM’s decision approving the National Program on IT Application in State Agencies, period of 2011-2015.

Accordingly, up to 2015, 100% of State agencies administered by ministries, Governmental agencies, socio-political organizations, and communal authorities will be connected to the high-speed and security network of the State.

All meetings hosted by the Government and the PM can be organized online.

The Program also sets the target of building up national-level specialized information systems to provide services to people and the business community.

At that moment, 80% of people and enterprises will submit their tax declarations online; 90% of provincial customs offices provide electronic customs procedures; and 100% Vietnamese citizens will have electronic passports.
