Electricity is now provided to every commune of the Central Highlands region

Under the project, some 78,307 households in 1,337 villages in the five localities will no longer have to live a life without electricity.

The project is part of the country’s efforts and determination to improve living standard of residents in the whole Central Highlands region.

Việt Nam planned to provide electricity to 100% of households in rural areas nationwide by 2015, which contributes to modernizing the country’s agriculture and rural development.

Party Secretary of Ea Tul Commune Ama Chen said that electricity used to be an unfamiliar item to local people, but now light covers everywhere and significant changes will be recorded here.
