Draft Circular on registering temporary residence for foreigners

Accordingly, guest houses and hotels have to register temporary residence information through the website timely and exactly.

The draft defines two ways to declare: a –the website with main language of Vietnamese and English, b – the temporary residence files.

Declaration for foreigners via the website will be realized right after the foreigners come to register for overnight staying.

Declaration for foreigners via the files will be carried out within 12 hours and will be extended to 24 hours for remote and mountainous areas.
