The Deputy PM treasured the valuable contributions of the WB to socio-economic development in Vietnam.

Vietnam hopes to continue receiving more financial and technical support to fulfill the important targets, particularly on human resource development, said the Deputy PM.

The host leader took the occasion to ask the international financial institution to focus on three basic pillars of social welfare, including prevention and protection of civilians against risks, poverty and enforcement of equal rights.

The Deputy PM also hoped that the WB would continue to provide more consultations and finance for the Vietnamese Government to realize sustainable growth.

For his part, the Managing Director hailed the recipient country for fruitfully tapping WB-sponsored credit assistance.

In the coming time, the WB would prioritize more credit to assisting the Southeast Asian nation in implementing the polices on education, rural development, sustainable growth and insurance of social welfare, he added./.
