DPM receives newly-appointed Mozambique’s Ambassador

VGP – Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh confirmed that Viet Nam attaches importance to the relationship with Mozambique, one of Viet Nam’s key partners in the south of Africa while receiving newly-appointed Mozambique’s Ambassador to Viet Nam Leonardo Rosario Manuel Pene on July 18 in Ha Noi.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other agencies will create favorable conditions for the Ambassador to fulfill his tasks during his tenure in Viet Nam. 

The Deputy Minister exchanged specific measures to promote cooperation in fields of agriculture, telecommunications, education and health more intensively and expand cooperation to other potential areas such as transport and oil and gas as well as facilitate people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between their businesses.

Mr. Leonardo Rosario Manuel Pene affirmed that Mozambique’s high-ranking leaders attach importance to the relations with Viet Nam, hoping to expand cooperation in all fields. 

He committed to doing his utmost to deepen the two nations’ relationship during his tenure, striving to raise the bilateral trade turnover and attract more investment from Viet Nam to Mozambique.
