DPM, FM Minh extends congratulations to new US Secretary of State

Deputy PM, FM Minh reaffirmed Viet Nam’s consistent policy of considering the US as one of the top partners of Viet Nam, wishing to further strengthen cooperation and friendship in a substantive, stable and long-term manner on the basis of respecting international law, independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and political system of each other.

Deputy PM Minh also expressed his belief that cooperation between the two foreign ministries will significantly contribute to accelerating the Viet Nam-US comprehensive partnership in both bilateral and multilateral aspects.

He took the occasion to invite US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to pay an official visit to Viet Nam at his convenient time./.
