Dozen people killed, missing in flashflood in northern provinces

VGP – Torrential rain and flashfloods have left at least 15 people dead and missing in Mu Cang Chai district of the northern province of Yen Bai this morning.

Meanwhile, 13 people were reported death and three others still missing in Muong La district of Son La province.

Thousands of local people were mobilized to search for the missing and handle the consequences of the natural disasters.

At the Cabinet meeting on the same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc tasked Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung to lead a delegation to Yen Bai to help the local authorities and families of the victims./.
