Thirdly, to figure out solutions for territorial and border issues with other relevant countries in the principle of securing national sovereignty territorial integrity, and sustaining security, peace and stability in the region.

Fourthly, the economic diplomacy will be enhanced to strengthen cooperative ties with big partners and penetrate into potential and untapped markets.

Fifthly, to uphold the task on overseas Vietnamese; to realize policies on the Vietnamese community abroad in order to help them to integrate into local societies, preserve national identities and contribute to the homeland.
