Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm to visit China this month

VNGOVNet – At the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm will pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of China on March 24-29.

The visit aims to deepen the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China; implement the agreements made in visits and meetings between the two countries’ leaders in 2006 and prepare some senior visits in 2007; discuss solutions to realize agreements on economic and trade affairs; and strengthen the cooperation between border provinces of the two countries.

It is expected that Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm will have talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing. He will also meet some Chinese leaders. Apart from Beijing, the Vietnamese delegation will visit Shanghai and the Macau Special Administrative Region.
